San Jose Pet Store Workers Fear Stolen Guinea Pig May Be in Danger

A Bay Area pet store needs help finding a stolen guinea pig.

A black-and-white guinea pig named "Jenny” went missing from Andy’s Pet Shop in San Jose on Wednesday.

Pet shop workers say they’re worried that someone will try to use Jenny for breeding and she may not survive labor.

According to workers, she bonded with another guinea pig named "Rose." They're up for adoption as a pair because they need each other to stay sane and happy.

Anyone with information as to Jenny’s whereabouts is encouraged to contact the pet store at (408) 297-0840 or North Star Rescue at adoptions@northstarrescue.org.
