Shaun is Not the Wooliest Sheep in the World After All

Shaun the sheep finally got his first haircut.

This very woolly sheep – found wandering around in Tasmania – was previously thought to be the wooliest in the world. But it turns out he’s not. Shaun just got shorn, and his wool isn’t as heavy as a sheep named Shrek, who holds the world record for a whooping 60 pounds of fleece.

The farmers who found Shaun wandering around Tasmania earlier this week say that while the record would have been nice, they just want to make sure Shaun is comfortable and healthy.
