Skimpy Evidence Found Under Suspect's Clothes

Police investigating a burglary report find the evidence -- a woman's lingerie -- under the suspect's clothing.

A burglar caught in a woman's bedroom in Pasadena was later found to be wearing her lingerie under his clothes, a lieutenant said Sunday.

Luis Javier Fernandez-Garcia, 30, who lived in the same apartment complex in the 700 block of Garfield Avenue, was booked on suspicion of burglary and locked up in lieu of $50,000 bail, Pasadena police Lt. Thomas Delgado said.

Police sent to an apartment in the complex about 1:40 a.m. Saturday were met by a 22-year-old woman who told them that she came home with a male friend, and they found the intruder in her bedroom, Delgado said.

The friend grabbed Fernandez and held him for police, he said, adding that no one was hurt.

After Fernandez was arrested, police discovered he was wearing the victim's lingerie under his clothes, Delgado said.
