"This is exasperating." "What were you thinking?" "Why you have to just get another baby? You just have two." These are just some of the things Tré told his mother when she told him she was having a baby.
Big words for a six-year-old? The Internet agrees.
Tré's mother Shanee Gibson Hart of Fort Lewis, Washington, posted the video on her Facebook page, and from there it went completely viral. "My husband and I been keeping a secret from Tré, finally told him and he was not happy. He's so smart we are very proud of our kids!" Gibson Hart wrote.
"I've something to tell you -- I'm pregnant," Gibson Hart announces to her son and his toddler sister in the video.
Tré hides his face before going off on a very grown-up rant that includes words like "exasperating." It doesn't take too long to realize that most of Tré's fears come from the possibility of being replaced by someone new, but his mom quickly squishes them.
"We would never replace you and Maya," Shanee Gibson says. "You're just gonna have another brother or sister that you will have to help take care of."
"That doesn't make no sense," Tré responds. And later, "What kind of baby is that?"
"I don't know – it might be a boy, it might be a girl," his mother says.
Tré then makes it clear that he doesn't like little boys because they cry. "Buy me some ear plugs," he requests.
