Claire Simmons’ condition, known as Selective Eating Disorder, is increasing her future risk for a heart attack or stroke.
A British woman has taken way too many pieces of the pie.
Claire Simmons, 33, said she's eaten only plain pizza for the past 31 years and has been told she could die if she doesn’t change her diet.
The Notting Hill native said she gags if she eats anything other than cheese and tomato pizza, and begins to shake if she is given any other type of food, according to The Sun, which also recently reported on a woman who eats nothing but chicken nuggets.
"I keep myself healthy with exercise and drink a lot of water,” Simmons told the U.K. tabloid.
But doctors say that doesn’t cut it. Simmons’ condition, known as Selective Eating Disorder, is increasing her future risk for a heart attack or stroke.
Experts recommend a varied diet including fruits and vegetables, but Simmons said she balks at the healthy foods.
"I'm actually scared of fruit and veg. I get so angry when people think I'm being faddy — this is a real medical condition," she said.
