Join Today in the Bay's Christina Loren and have fun volunteering outdoors, learn about the Bay and help us protect it by joining one of our Bay area Proud on-the-Bay programs. This is your last chance to get your planting on! Come spend a beautiful morning with us planting native seedlings at this former salt pond. The native plants will grow to provide habitat and food to several shorebird species, including the threatened western snowy plover. This weekend marks the deadline to reach our goal to plant 25,000 native seedlings around the Bay and we need your help to get the last few plants in the ground
