NVIDIA Project Inspire at McKinley Elementary School – December 5, 2009

Each year, NVIDIA Corporation takes the money it would spend on a holiday party and invests it into community work days in office locations all over the world. In Silicon Valley, NVIDIA will partner with City Year and Strong Neighborhoods to transform McKinley Elementary School, Community Center and surrounding park area.

We are expecting between 750 – 1000 employees, their family members and local residents to participate in this one day event and we invite Bay Area Proud members to help in this great holiday project. Projects include re-painting the entire school and community center, improving the community center rooms, creating garden beds for a science classroom project, and improving the condition of the fields where students and local community members play football, baseball and soccer.
