Volunteers needed at Donation Station in San Jose

Step Up Silicon Valley is the community-based initiative that includes organizations in the public sector, faith communities and businesses, and is part of the national Campaign to Reduce Poverty in America. The Donation Station serves anyone who is refered by agencies within the partnership, ie, Sacred Heart, Second Harvest. Clients can come to the Donation Station to get what they need at no cost.  We are like Goodwill, but we don't charge for the items, they are given away to clients in need. New and gently used clothing and household items will be received, sorted and displayed and given free of charge to anyone referred by a partner of Step Up Silicon Valley: Campaign to Cut Poverty. Help receive donations and assist donors in filling out in-kind forms.

Help organize, sort and display the items at the donation station.
