Food sorting at the Alameda County Coummunity Food Bank is a rewarding experience and a great chance to meet other Bay Area volunteers.
The mission of the Food Bank is to alleviate hunger by providing nutritious food and nutrition education to people in need, educating the public, and promoting public policies that address hunger and its root causes.
Volunteers sort and box food that is distributed to more than 40,000 residents of Alameda County weekly through our network of 275 member organizations.
Come by and help us alleviate hunger in the Bay Area!
