Tech Savvy Volunteers needed to help SOMA Business

Urban Solutions is a non-profit economic and community development organization that helps small businesses in disadvantaged neighborhoods. Our efforts are most visible in two neighborhoods in the city: the Sixth Street Commercial Corridor in the South of Market.

We offer the small businesses we work with a wide range of services to help them thrive. Many of our clients are in need of assistance leveraging technology to improve business operations. This assistance might entail helping business owners set up social networking profiles, become more comfortable with financial management software, or analyze web site traffic statistics. We think it would be exciting to bring 20 volunteers to San Francisco to work closely with entrepreneurs on increasing their tech savvy. NBC Bay Area Tech Reporter and host of TECH NOW! Scott Budman will help with the two hour volunteer effort.
