The family of the Berkeley man who died on May 13 says he suffered a heart attack, not an accidental fall.
The mother of Jason Dunbar, 34, told the San Francisco Chronicle autopsy results found her son's death was the result of a blood clot in his coronary artery.
Earlier reports suggested Dunbar died from a head injury after tripping and falling while running down the Upper Yosemite Fall trail.
Dunbar was a sous chef in San Francisco and was in good athletic shape. His family says he had been climbing in Yosemite since high school.
His death was the second one at the park on May 13. Kent Butler of Austin, Texas drowned after he slipped and fell into the Merced River.
