Health & Safety Fair

This is a great opportunity to volunteer and help create a stronger community.

The Winchester Neighborhood Action Coalition needs your help at the annual Health and Safety Fair event on Saturday, May 23, 2009.

In Partnership with ACUDIR, Pueblo de Dios Church, International Christian Center, Teen Challenge, Lynhaven NA, & Westside P&HOA, the Health & Safety Fair brings the communinty together for a day of fun and education.

Choose to help with these fun jobs:

  • Set Up Tables/Canopies/Chairs
  • Monitor Dunk Tank
  • Welcome and Greet
  • Assist with Helmet Education
  • Photo Children ID's (will train)\
  • Helium Balloons
  • Fingerprint Children (will train)
  • Pass Out Refreshments
  • Set up Stage and Sound
  • Assist with Children Activities
  • Motivate People to Visit Tables
  • Break Down and Clean Up

Max number of volunteers: 100
Age restrictions:  12+
Type of work: Varied, see above
Recommended attire: Comfortable clothes, close toed shoes, a hat. This is an outdoor event.
Items to bring: Hat, sun screen

Beverages provided: Yes
Rain contingencies:  Rain or shine
Parking Available:  Free parking
