The City of Mountain View has collaborated with local health and fitness providers such as the El Camino YMCA, Kaiser Permanente, El Camino Hospital, Palo Alto Medical Foundation, David and Lucile Packard Foundation, and the Children’s Health Initiative to sponsor a health and wellness festival to provide information and tools for a more active lifestyle, healthier eating, and to connect individuals and families with resources in the community that will support them in their efforts to incorporate healthy strategies in their daily routines. 

Also at this event will be sign ups for low-cost health insurance through the Children’s Health Initiative, and free on-site screenings (blood pressure, glucose, cholesterol, and melanoma)
