Photographer Captures Landmarks at the Golden Gate

Fort Point, Kirby Cove and Alcatraz

Admire the photographs of Alison Taggart-Barone and her volunteer photographers for our Golden Gate National Parks. (Published Friday, July 22, 2016)

Alison Taggart-Barone is a talented photographer who shares some of her time and considerable talents as a volunteer with the Golden Gate National Parks.  She has a passion for nature and history and finds limitless opprtunities to photograph both in the park's 80,000+ acres.  Alison is particularly attracted to Fort Point, Kirby Cove and Alcatraz.  Among our favorites are her photos of Alcatraz at night. See for yourself.  Please note there is currently a temporary hold on accepting new volunteer photographers.
