Reading Partners, a local educational nonprofit organization, seeks volunteers to assist students from local elementary school struggling with reading. One-on-one tutoring takes place directly on the school campus, Monday-Thursday, from 9am-5pm, at 16 locations in the SF Bay Area. No prior tutoring experience is required – only a commitment to working with a student on a regular basis one hour each week! Full training and on-site support is offered through the program to help you become as effective a tutor as possible.
Time: Monday-Thursday, 9am-5pm; 45-minute sessions all school year long; volunteers are asked to commit to one 45-minute session per week for the year
