Saving Coyote Valley

Discover old California nestled in the shadow of booming San Jose.

Ranching and family farming flourish in the shadow of Silicon Valley (Published Monday, June 22, 2015)

We’ll discover old California nestled in the shadow of booming San Jose. The Coyote Valley, located between San Jose and Morgan Hill, is the last remnant of what was once called the Valley of Heart’s Delight, now known famously as Silicon Valley. The Coyote Valley is a place where ranching and family farming still flourish and nature thrives. We’ll meet two of the long-standing proponents of local agriculture there and we’ll follow the staff of the Santa Clara County Open Space Authority to explore their brand new preserve opening to the public at the end of June this year.
