On Monday, Sept. 29, Capes4Heroes was joined by ten San Francisco 49ers players including Kassim Osgood, Fouimalo Fonoti, Vance McDonald and Michael Wilhoite at Lucille Packard Children's Hospital Stanford to cape 150 children currently being treated at the hospital for life-threatening illnesses.
Capes4Heroes caped 100 children as they crossed the finish line on Sunday, October 5 at the 2014 Bay Area Step Up for Down Syndrome Walk, a benefit for the Down Syndrome Connection of the Bay Area. Thank you to the Danville-Sycamore Rotary Club for sponsoring the capes for these beautiful children.
This March, Capes4Heroes will cape more deserving children at hospitals and Ronald McDonald Houses in North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Illinois. A special thank you to the East Coast volunteers for making this happen!
