Abuse Against People with Mental and/or Developmental Disabilities Seminar

The People With Disabilities Foundation along with San Francisco Public Library Access Services; The Inclusive Programming for People with Developmental Disabilities Committee of the San Francisco Public Library are hosting a seminar titled Abuse Against People with Mental and/or Developmental Disabilities: Physical, Sexual, and Verbal Abuse in Institutional or Community Settings.

This seminar will address the potential causes, ramifications, and preventive measures related to the abuse of people with mental and/or developmental disabilities. The event is targeted at the general public; people with disabilities, their doctors, nurses, facilities staff, caretakers, families, and friends; legal community; mental and social service providers.

The event is free to attend, but tax-deductible donations are appreciated. The event will also be able to be live-streamed in case you are unable to attend in person, the details are in the link below.
