9/11 Volunteer Projects need your Help!

Join hundreds of HandsOn Bay Area volunteers the morning of September 11th and pay tribute to America’s veterans and first responders at the Veterans War Memorial in San Francisco’s Civic Center. A variety of projects will help package care kits for soldiers and veterans and support local schools and nonprofits.

Age Restrictions: Minors 16-17 years old require signed consent form. Minors under 15 years of age require a parent or guardian.
Type of Work: Variety - Packaging care kits for veterans, writing thank you notes to first responders, packaging books and materials for local elementary school students and more!
Waiver Required: Volunteers will sign waiver at event.
Registration Required: Volunteer can register online at www.hoba.org
Attire: Please wear comfortable clothing in layers you won’t mind getting dirty.
Meals: Coffee and pastries will be available in the morning. Snacks and water will be provided plus all necessary supplies. No experience necessary.
Beverages: Coffee in the morning and water during the project.
