Adult Literacy Project needs Volunteers in Hayward

WHAT IF YOU COULD NOT READ! Literacy Plus, Hayward Public Library's adult literacy program is looking for volunteer tutors to assist adults wanting to improve their basic literacy skills so they can achieve their goals, increase their knowledge and develop their potential. New tutor orientation will be held on August 29, September 13 and again on September 14, 2011. The next FREE training class begins September 17, 2011. Volunteers must be at least 18 years of age and able to make a six month commitment.
