    The celebration in San Francisco's streets following the Giants' World Series victory started off peaceful but quickly turned raucous and violent, as revelers vandalized police cars and businesses and pelted officers with bottles. Mark Matthews reports. (Published Thursday, Oct 30, 2014)

    We have been extremely fortunate to be receiving very large quantities of fresh produce to distribute to those in need in our community. Unfortunately, this “back-to-school” time of the year is a time when we are short on numbers of volunteers to sort and bag these fruits and vegetables.

    • Closed-toed shoes are required.
    • Please arrive promptly at 8am or 12pm and
    • Additional parking is available next door at 8000 Edgewater Drive (along the fence only, please.)

    Finally, please note that our volunteer food sorting activities have now been moved to the rear of our facility in our new Community Engagement Center. Look for the orange awning near the back of our building.
