With summer break just around the corner, thousands of local children who rely on school meals need a place to turn for healthy lunches.
We're here to help -- but we need your support!
We are excited to announce our continued partnership with the City of Oakland and Oakland Public Libraries to offer the Free Summer Lunch Program at 11 Oakland Public Library branches this summer!
Volunteers are urgently needed to help run summer lunch locations and to serve the 15,000 meals we expect to give children this year. Shifts will occur between 11:30am and 1:30, Tuesday through Friday, from June 18th - August 17th.
