Volunteer teams needed to collect food at Bay Area Safeway Stores on 11/19

The Alameda County Food Bank, Second Harvest Food Banks of Santa Clara and San Mateo Counties, San Francisco Food Bank, Food Bank of Contra Costa and Solano Counties, Napa Valley Food Bank and Redwood Empire Food Bank will be partnering with all Safeway stores to accept food donations for Bay Area community residents.

Coordinate your Team!

 

Teams of volunteers (4-8 people)are needed on Saturday, November 19 to help with the special one-day donation/collection. Volunteers will be posted at the entrances of all Bay Area Safeway stores to ask customers to help and to donate. Please consider coordinating a team. Our goal is to collect 300 bags of groceries at each of the 100 participating stores to reach 30,000 bags! If you can help help, please register your team now and we will send each of your team a Bay Area Proud T-shirt to wear during the event!
