Volunteers needed for BuildOn activities around the Bay in Oct

Bay Area Proud is happy to endorse  some great volunteer activities this October. BuildOn students are out doing service during the week and on the weekends in their local communities why not. come and join them! Please email me if you are interested in volunteering alongside our students and, if you would like your children to attend, please note their ages.

Friday-Saturday Oct 28-29
Mid-Peninsula
• Boys and Girls Club Haunted House, 3pm-9pm: Dress up as a monster to scare the kiddos or hand out candy to make them smile: your choice!

San Francisco
• Ronald McDonald House, 8:30am -11am: Help cook breakfast for families with children in the hospital. Please bring a breakfast item with you.
• Boo at the SF Zoo!, TBD: Help out at the annual Halloween event in the zoo

• Randall Museum Halloween, 9am-4pm: Volunteer to support a special Halloween event for kids at a place that fosters the love of science, natural history, and the arts

East Bay
• Boo at the Oakland Zoo!, TBD: Help out at the annual Halloween event in the zoo

• Piedmont Halloween Parade, TBD: Volunteer to participate in this awesome Halloween parade

Mid-Peninsula
• Halloweeding with Save the Bay, 9am – 12pm: Bring your scariest costume to frighten the weeds away at Faber Tract
