Wetlands Win at Eden Landing Ecological Reserve. Help needed on Feb 4

Save the Bay volunteer opportunities in Union City/East Bay

We’re rooting for the wetlands as we dig up the competition and dominate the playing field with natives. The weather may be tough be we’re tougher as we claim the thrill of victory over invasive species at this former salt pond at the eastern end of the San Mateo Bridge. This pond has been reconfigured to provide nesting islands and habitat for shorebirds, including the threatened snowy plover. Volunteers will help Save The Bay score big as we work toward our goal to plant 30,000 native seedlings this winter season!
