Strawberry Creek is a Berkeley gem that starts in the hills, winds it way through the busy downtown area, and ends in the San Francisco Bay. WHERE: Strawberry Park, UC Berkeley Campus, Berkeley

Activities Include:

  • Collecting aquatic insects and investigating them using microscopes
  • Learning about native riparian plants
  • Creating nature art
  • Completing a creek-side clean-up to beautify and give back to the creek habitat.

Audience: Children ages 5-11 years old, accompanied by an adult. Pre-registration is required. Contact Deborah by email or call 510-985-1602. You can also check out their webpage for more info!
