East Bay Youth Media Awards

The East Bay Youth Media Awards honors young leaders engaged in cutting edge and innovative media creation. Individuals between the ages 13 to 25 attend numerous instructional classes, after-school programs, and get to experience in-depth training in reporting and media production. These talented youth will be nominated by their peers and industry professionals to receive one of several awards in various media categories. NBC Bay Area’s very own Kari Hall will be the Mistress of Ceremonies on this special evening.

Alameda County Supervisior Keith Carson presents this event in partnership with three youth media organizations Youth Radio, KDOL Media Enterprise Alliance, and United Roots to inspire future generations to elevate the field of media.
