Habitat for Humanity Cycle of Hope

Lafayette Residents Bob Frick (77) and Len Holmes (73), will bicycle over 3,000 miles across the U.S. from the San Francisco Bay Area to Atlanta, Georgia, headquarters of Habitat for Humanity International, to raise awareness and funding for Habitat for Humanity East Bay/Silicon Valley (HEBSV).

Bob and Len have set their sights on raising $250,000 with the Cycle of Hope III ride. All funds raised are 100% tax deductible and will be used to sponsor the construction of Habitat homes in Alameda, Contra Costa and Santa Clara counties, HEBSV's three county service territory. This includes HEBSV's upcoming Central Commons development, providing addordable housing for 30 families in Fremont. Previous successes from the Cycle of Hope I and II rides funded homes in Bay Point and Walnut Creek.
