Peace On Your Wings the musical is making their to the Bay Area to inspire the minds and hearts with their theatrical message: world peace. Peace Your Wings is inspired by a 12-year old girl, Sadako Sasaki, who died from leukemia as a result of radiation caused by the atomic bomb dropped on Hiroshima. Sadako was most known for having folded over a thousand paper cranes to fulfill an old Japanese legend that promises one wish to the folder of a thousand. The musical opens up about issues that many children and teens are facing today, like the search for self-identity and bullying, it also shares the intense drama of facing terminal illness and death of a friend.
Peace On Your Wings is produced by Ohana Arts, whose aim to promote the message of peace and global friendship.
