Relay for Life Silicon Valley

Relay for Life is getting ready to inspire those in the Silicon Valley. This powerful walk is making its way over to Santa Clara and Mountain View May 3rd and 4th. The walk benefits American Cancer Society and is great for the entire family. It will be a fun weekend of survivors and supports camped around the track, each taking turns walking for their team. Food, games, and activities fill the day to entertain and build camaraderie for the Relay community.

Other moments of the event are a Survivors Lap, where cancer survivors take the first lap around the track to celebrate their victory while being cheered on by their supporters. A Luminaria Ceremony will take place after dark as a remembrance of people that have lost the battle, and to support those still fighting. Also, a Fight Back Ceremony to inspire the Relay participants to take action by making an emotional commitment to the fight against cancer.
