SF Choral Society's Musical Extravaganza

San Francisco Choral Society presents inspiring pair of contemporary works: Terra Nostra and Lux Aeterna. The event takes place Saturday, November 14, at 8pm and again on Sunday, November 15, at 4pm. Join the SF Choral Society come together with Piedmont Children’s Choir in the composer’s most ambitious, largest-scale work to celebrate the planet, the rise of humanity, and the search for the perfect balance between Earth and mankind. With the help of adult and children’s choruses, a string orchestra, percussionists and soloists it promises to be a thrilling musical sensation.  Also featuring Morten Lauridsen’s Lux Aeterna, a piece inspired by grief and understanding the goodness of life to help elevate us as human beings.
