The Junior League of San Jose Announces Community Grant Fund

The Junior League of San Jose (JLSJ) announced that it will once again be providing grants to a number of local nonprofit agencies as part of its annual Community Grant Fund Program. As part of its mission to improve the local community, the Junior League of San Jose is continuing its grant-giving program. Since 2007, the Junior League of San Jose has provided over $100,000 in grants to local nonprofit agencies. 

Applications for the 2013-2014 League year are due on or before November 25, 2013, for funding by May 31, 2014. Allocated funds range by application with a maximum amount of $5,000 per non-profit agency. 

Criteria for applying:

  • Applicants must have tax-exempt status under Section 501(c)(3)
  • Applicants must have a local Board of Directors
  • Applicants must operate within the geographical boundaries of the Junior League of San Jose which covers the South Bay, west through Santa Cruz, east through Fremont, south through Gilroy and north through Los Altos.
