The Rock 'n' Roll Marathon is returning to San Jose for the 10th year. This year, the marathon will feature a 5K, 10K, and half marathon for runners. Each year, more athletes participate in Rock 'n' Roll running events than any other running series in the United States. Beginning in 1989, the Rock 'n' Roll marathon series features bands along every course celebrating each participant. Runners of the marathon have raised more than $310 million for participating charities.
The San Jose course will encompass a route in the heart of downtown. This is a scenic course with a "Beer at the Finish Line" Festival. With registration for the race, you also get a Brooks Technical Participant tee, an exclusive finisher medal, a gear bag, and admission to the two-day health and fitness expo.
