On Saturday, October 28th, Unravel will be hosting its 2017 GLITTER GALA at Hayes Mansion, San Jose.
The event will support Dr. Michelle Monje at Stanford University. Dr. Monje's lab is taking a multiple-pronged approach to investigating new DIPG treatments, including exploring molecular and cellular vulnerabilities of DIPG cells, determining the mechanisms by which normal cells become cancerous, and finding ways to lessen the effects of treatment on normal cells.
Unravel is a nonprofit organization working to spread knowledge about the grim realities of pediatric cancer and the devastating impact from the lack of funding.
Unravel supplies the information, tools and support to individuals and communities that want to help create change.
All funds raised by and for Unravel will go directly to the fight against pediatric cancer.
