Mary Babbitt hosts the award-winning In Wine Country, on NBC Bay Area. She describes it as her dream job, combining her love of travel, art, gardening, gourmet meals and of course, wine!

Prior to hosting In Wine Country, Mary was a news anchor for 14 years, including five years at KNTV in San Jose, CA anchoring the 5pm, 11pm and noon newscasts.
Mary and her husband have four young children. Their home near San Jose has a small chardonnay vineyard in the backyard to help keep them in that wine country state of mind.
