Family Giving Tree
Updated 2:54 PM PST, Wed, Aug 5, 2009
Come spend a few hours with us while we help pack backpacks full of school supplies for needy children.
The Family Giving Tree works with local social service agencies and schools that serve underprivileged children, families and homeless persons year-round.
In four Bay Area counties 227,826 children are enrolled in the Federal Free or Reduced Lunch Program (Title I). Last year, we helped more than 15,000 of these children by providing them with a new backpack containing the tools they need to succeed.
Join fellow Bay Area Proud volunteers on August 6, 2009 in Santa Clara to lend a hand!
