John Danner is CEO of Rocketship Education.  He was previously a teacher in low-income schools, and is an advocate for charter school reform around the nation.  In this editorial, John describes what it will take to create educational success and close the achievement gap for all students - elements like parent involvement, 10 hour school days and a focus on college from the first day of school.
