Family House is a non-profit guesthouse where familes, who live farther than 50 miles away from S.F., stay free of charge while their children receive treatment at UCSF Hospital.

There are two locations in the inner sunset which serve 34 families per night.

Your efforts have helped create an environment that allows families to enjoy themselves and feel like they have a place to ease their minds during their time in crisis.

Age restrictions:  18+
Type of work: Gardening, painting, reorganizing living spaces
Recommended attire: Comfortable working clothes
Items to bring: Snacks and water
Meals provided: No
Beverages provided: No
Rain contingencies:  Rain or shine
Parking Available:  Street and a lot on 9th Avenue between Lincoln and Irving available
Note:  We will be videotaping the event for news and promotional purposes
