Pat’s Run
Representatives from the Pat Tillman Foundation discusses  their upcoming projects and events including Pat's Run. Six thousand runners, walkers, volunteers and spectators are expected to participate in Pat’s Run in San Jose. This 4.2 mile run/walk celebrates the life of former football star and Army Ranger, Pat Tillman. Proceeds from the race benefit the Pat Tillman Foundation and its Leadership through Action programs.

The Pat Tillman Foundation is a non profit organization that was established after Pat’s death in April of 2004. The foundation supports the Leadership Through Action program in Arizona where Tillman exceeled as a student-athlete at Arizona State University and as a fan favorite with the NFL's Arizona Cardinals.

Asian Americans for Community Involvement (AACI)
Representatives from the AACI join us to talk about their organization and how it offers healing and new life opportunities for refugees. The center welcomes people from any country and especially those have survived political torture.
 
The AACI is the only Center of its kind in the Silicon Valley. The organization works with torture survivors from all over the world. Services include medical, psychotherapy, legal referrals and an array of social services to help torture victims and their families.

Cinequest Film Festival

The Cinequest Film Festival has established itself as a celebration of Mavericks and this year’s forum stays true to its form with the theme, "Transform."
  
Narrated and executive produced by Sean Penn, Witch Hunt is the story of  families in Bakersfield, California in the early 80’s.  The Kern County District Attorney carelessly pursued innocent, working-class moms and dads wrongly accused of child molestation.
 
Cinequest will have six hundred artists and innovators that will show 150 films and forums to audiences. All events and venues will be in San Jose.

Since 1998, Duffy has chaired the board of the US Civilian Research and Development Foundation. Dr. Duffy has headed the Commonwealth Club for ten years, since March 6, 1996.
