Bob Saget Tweets ‘Full House' Spinoff Preview, Tells San Francisco to ‘Wake Up'

The new show is staying true to its San Francisco storyline.

Get ready "Full House" fans, your first look at the new Netflix spinoff is here.

Bob Saget, aka Danny Tanner, tweeted a teaser for "Fuller House" on Thursday and also announced a premiere date for the anticipated revival series: Feb. 26.

Though the teaser is light on plot details, it’s heavy on nostalgia.

Images of the Tanners' iconic San Francisco townhouse flood the screen, while Miranda Lambert's emotional "The House That Built Me" plays in the background.

The Broderick Street house, in particular, has become a symbol of the popular TV series. Since the show wrapped in 1995, fans have continued to visit the home and take pictures from the street. It’s often included in lists of popular tourist attractions, even making USA Today’s list.

Netflix announced in a press release that "Fuller House" would focus on D.J. Tanner, who moves back to the family abode with her children after becoming a widow.

Candace Cameron Bure, Jodie Sweetin and Andrea Barber are all set to reprise their roles as D.J, Stephanie Tanner and Kimmy Gibler, respectively. Other members of the original cast are slated make occasional appearances, including John Stamos, who is a lead producer on the reboot.

Sadly for Michelle Tanner fans, neither Mary-Kate nor Ashley Olsen will be returning to their childhood role.

Michelle’s absence will be addressed, however, as show writers have planned for her character to be working as a fashion designer in New York – a fate not too far removed from that of her real life counterparts, who are busy running several succesful clothing lines.
