BART Fares Go Up So it Can Support Local Business

This is what the new look Bart trains could look like.

New details have come out about BART executive spending habits. $1,160 on See's Candies, $23,487.77 at your local Apple Store, which is interesting because the District's computer system is not compatible with Macs, over $1,500 at REI, and what's this? Over $1,500 on "gear" like bags from Timbuk2? This is right after BART directors approved a plan to raise fares by 6.1% starting in July. In other news, is BART currently hiring? Our MacBook is outdated and we need a camping tent (also we have no soul). [BART Budget Waste]
