Fourth Graders Take Over Presidio

advertisement

If you attended the fourth grade in California, you undoubtedly made a model of a mission. To relieve the agony and the ecstasy of gluing sugar cubes together at 2am the morning before the project was due, be sure to stop by the "Mission Possible" exhibit at the Presidio Officer's Club.

In addition to missions, the models also depict other structures from the same era, including Indian villages, pueblos, presidios, and mission complexes.

The exhibit is part of Pasados del Presidio, a series of free events that commemorate the founding of the Presidio in San Francisco.  It is available to visitors Wednesday through Sunday, 11am to 5 pm, until June 28th.
