Check out this article for a list of fireworks displays around the Bay Area.

BOTANICAL GARDENS: There's sure to be some red, white and blue -- and pink, yellow, green, purple, orange ... at the San Francisco Botanical Gardens. Tour the gardens for free and get a walking tour starting at 1:30 p.m. The garden is located at Golden Gate Park and opens on weekends and holidays at 10 a.m.

INSIDE BASEBALL: Take a tour of the AT&T Park, the only baseball park in the country where home runs can land with a splash. The behind-the-scenes tour of the home of the San Francisco Giants gives you access to places only the players and staff go. Tours are $10 for adults, $5 for kids 12 and under -- kids under 2 are free. Tours start from the Dugout Store at 10:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. daily, except on game days at the park.

LAWN, LAKE, MUSIC: Take in some music on the lawn by the lake at Vasona County Park in Los Gatos on July 4. Dance, clap & toe-tap for the seventh year of this grassroots music summer series featuring a variety of music genres and local artists. Take your blanket -- to lie on and relax and visit with friends as you enjoy the entertainment of the Vasona Vibrations Outdoor Music Series. Take your picnic dinner but food concessions will also available. The show starts at 5 p.m.

OODLES OF FUN -- AND A WATERPARK: Take a daycation and dip, slip and slide at Raging Waters in San Jose. Bring your skateboard and fishing pole too. Raging Waters is located at Lake Cunningham Park, where you'll also find a new skateboard park, trails and rental boats.
