HIGH-TECH TREASURE HUNTING: What is geocaching? Find out the secret behind this high-tech treasure hunt trend. Join Docent Sam Drake at Mt. Madonna County Park starting at 8:45 a.m. for an introduction to geocaching along the crumbling Miller Estate ruins. GPS units will be provided. Reservations are required so call 408-355-2240 for more details.

BEAUTIFY THE BEACH: Volunteer to help clean up Ocean Beach. Join San Francisco residents, merchants and students who help clean up and beautify the City's neighborhoods. Volunteers sweep up litter, plant and tend to neighborhood trees, paint out graffiti and help take care of our schools, parks, and community gardens. Meet at the Great Highway and Fulton at 9 a.m.

HIKE THROUGH TIME: Join a park ranger in Stevens Creek County Park for a 2-mile hike into history using maps pictures from the past to explore the land people who came here long, long ago and what they went through to make it what we know now. Bring plenty of water and snacks and meet at the ranger's office at 11 a.m. wearing your most comfy hiking shoes, sunscreen.
