Katy Perry waited until she left the Bay Area to air her dirty laundry. Boo!

The "Ur So Gay" and "I Kissed a Girl" singer went public with her break up with Gym Class Heroes front man Travis McCoy while playing a show Saturday night in Los Angeles, just three days after leaving San Francisco. The couple split just before New Year's Eve after dating for more than a year.

He wrote, "We fight every night, now that's not kosher. I reminisce with bliss of when we was closer. And wake up to be greeted by an argument again, you act like you're 10."

During a show at the Wiltern Theatre she said her ex had commitment issues and she said, "Girls, if you have ever dated a boy - specifically the lead singer from Gym Class Heroes - don't do it. Boys should have a heart. You know what I mean girls? Boys just want the milk, but they don't want to buy the cow."

Katy Perry's break-up with Gym Class Heroes star Travis McCoy continues to get messier -- the pop star has warned others about dating her ex.

The couple split at Christmas after romancing for much of last year, and it wasn't all amicable, as McCoy proved with a post on his Web site, in which he revealed the pair had been arguing for weeks.

McCoy had sparked the tiff by writing on his blog that the couple fought "every night, now that's not kosher. I reminisce with bliss of when we was closer. And wake up to be greeted by an argument again, you act like you're 10."

Until Saturday all Perry, who seems to grab tabloid headlines all the time, said the break up had left her with a broken heart.

"When you break up with someone you move on. You don't really want to move on ... but you have to because they don't give you any choice."

She dropped the news while performing at another show in Los Angeles. It's no fair how LA gets to have all the fun.
