Think you'll go nuts if you don't get your morning donut fix? Maybe Psycho Donuts is right up your alley.
But the marketing tool for a new donut shop in the South Bay is not sitting well with mental health advocates.
The Campbell shop is called Psycho Donuts and its owners admit they are making fun of all things crazy. The shop is equipped with a padded booth, a straight jacket and a group therapy area.
Donut specialties include the "bipolar," the "psycho" and "massive head trauma."
Employees wear lab coats or nursing outfits.
The Bay Area chapter of the "National Alliance for Mental Illness" is not buying it. They lodged a complaint with the state and plan to protest at the shop this weekend.
