DANCE WITH THE FISHES: On Thursday nights, the California Academy of Sciences in San Francisco hosts an evening of music, food, and cocktails. Drop by between 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. to mingle while you chill with aquarium creatures. Tickets are $10, or $8 for Academy members.

SING WITH YENTA: Belt out "Tradition," "Matchmaker," and "If I were a Rich Man," at a Fiddler on the Roof Sing-Along. The fun starts at 6 p.m. at San Francisco's Contemporary Jewish Museum. The event is $5 after 5 p.m., or free with an earlier museum admission.

EAST BAY STREET FAIR: Explore Oakland's Uptown District from 5pm to 10 p.m. during the "Uptown Unveiled!" street fair. There will be live music, walking tours, art displays, and food.

CIRCUS, CIRCUS: If you've ever dreamed of running away to join the circus, Circus Center's Annual Student Showcase is for you. See everyday people transformed into jugglers, clowns, aerialists, and more. The fun starts at 7 p.m. Adult tickets are $20 in advance, $25 at the door.
