MORE COWBELL: Blue Oyster Cult-- the band immortalized by the Saturday Night Live "cowbell" skit--is playing at Slim's in San Francisco at 8 p.m. Tickets are $16 to $18.
DELICIOUS DATING: Meet other singles and learn how to cook a seven-course meal tonight at Simmer and Sear in San Francisco. Tickets are $75 and the class runs from 6:30 p.m to 9:30 p.m.
SPARKLE, PATTY, SPARKLE!: This tribute to the Academy Award-winning actress includes a screening of "Valley of the Dolls" and a sing-along to the Patty Duke Show theme song. Even Patty Duke herself will be there! It all takes place at the Castro Theatre in San Francisco. Tickets are $30.
