Check it out at 6 p.m. at Omnivore Books on Food in San Francisco. Winners get cash, and everyone gets a stomach full of deliciousness.

FREE FLICK: Watch the 1989 horror film "Dead Calm" for free on giant screens near the waterfront in Oakland. A trivia game will start at 7:30 p.m., and the movie begins at sundown at Jack London Square.
