TUESDAY NIGHT TANGO: Re-enact that famous scene from "Scent of a Woman" for free at the First Baptist Church of Palo Alto. Beginner lessons begin at 7pm, Intermediate at 8pm, with dancing from 9pm to 11pm.

WEIRD AND SCARY: The SF IndieFest presents "Another Hole in the Head" at the Roxie Film Center in San Francisco. The festival celebrates independent sci-fi, horror, and fantasy films like "Audie and the Wolf", a story about a well-meaning werewolf. Tickets are $10 in advance, $11 at the door.

PLAY THAT FUNKY MUSIC: Celebrate your inner funk with radio personality Rickey Vincent and musician B'Nai Rebelfront at Yoshi's Restaurant and Jazz Club in San Francisco. Tickets are $10 in advance, $12 the day of the show.

YOUNG GENIUSES:: Remember when you were a child and you were convinced that you were a brilliant scientist? Well the youngsters in "Whiz Kids" actually are-- they've tackled everything from botany to paleontology. See the documentary about these amazing kids at the Herbst Theater in San Francisco at 7pm, followed by a Q&A with the filmmakers. Tickets are $15.
